Steelers Winners And Losers Form Preseason Week 1

Winners

Howard Jones, LB He had a few nice plays in tonight's game. One of them was a stop in the backfield on 2-point play.

Gerod Holliman, S Even though he had a personal foul call on a shoulder to helmet hit. It Showed that he can TACKLE he just needs to learn where he can hit.

Anthony Chickillo, LB He started to  have some good pass rush moves, and had some good pressure.

DeAngelo Williams, RB He had 28 yards on 6 attempts and showed good pass protection.

C.J. Goodwin, WR He had a Touchdown and 2 receptions. He may have had more if the ball wasn't over/under thrown on some plays.

Shayon Green, LB He had a few good play in the run game and in coverage. But he had a really good play on special teams when he forced a fumble on a kickoff.

L.T. Walton, DE He had a really nice play when he held on to the running backs ankle in the back field till someone else could knock him over. And he had some nice pressure.

Roosevelt Nix, FB He had 1 reception and was rally good in run blocking up the middle and on outside runs.

Sammie Coates, WR He had a nice sideline catch with less then a minute left in the game. He also had a big play on a kickoff by recovering a fumble made by Shayon Green.

Garrett Hartley, K He made two field goals and had a PAT.
