The Steelers Have Signed A Kicker

The Steelers have signed free agent Kicker Garrett Hartley to replace injured Kicker Shaun Suisham who tore his ACL trying to make a tackle on a kickoff in the Hall Of Fame Game this past weekend.

Below is a little background info of Garrett Hartley.

Hartley went undrafted in 2008. He signed with the Denver Broncos, and was released right before the start of training camp.

He then signed with the Saints in 2008 where he spent five season with them. He also won a Super Bowl while he was with the Saints. He missed the entire 2011 after injuring his hip in a preseason game. During the 2012 and 2013 seasons he struggled with bouts of inconsistent kicking.

He signed with the Browns in December of 2014 to finish the season for injured Billy Cundiff (Knee). He was waived in March of 2015.
